KissPeptin-10

CAS #: 374675-21-5

Kisspeptin-10 is a hypothalamic neuropeptide that regulates the reproductive system by stimulating GnRH secretion, which triggers LH and FSH release from the pituitary gland. It supports natural testosterone production, prevents testicular atrophy during TRT, and helps maintain fertility. Studied for reproductive disorders including hypothalamic amenorrhea and PCOS, with emerging anti-cancer properties. Available as lyophilized powder with ≥98% purity.

Product Overview

Kisspeptin-10, originally named Metastin for its metastasis-suppressing properties, is the smallest endogenous kisspeptin fragment that binds to the KISS1R receptor with similar affinity to the full-length kisspeptin-54. It stimulates the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis, making it essential for reproductive hormone regulation. Particularly valuable for men on testosterone replacement therapy to maintain endogenous testosterone production and prevent testicular atrophy.

Mechanism of Action

Kisspeptin-10 activates KISS1R receptors in the pituitary gland, triggering a cascade that releases GnRH, which stimulates LH and FSH secretion. LH stimulates Leydig cells for testosterone production; FSH supports spermatogenesis. This mechanism mimics the combined actions of clomiphene and HCG, maintaining the natural HPG axis feedback loop.

Key Benefits

Natural Testosterone Support — Stimulates endogenous testosterone production through the HPG axis, offering a physiological approach to hormonal optimization without suppressing natural production.

Testicular Atrophy Prevention — Maintains LH levels during testosterone replacement therapy, preventing the testicular shrinkage commonly associated with exogenous testosterone use.

Fertility Regulation — Supports reproductive function in both men and women. Studied for treating hypothalamic amenorrhea, PCOS, and idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism.

Anti-Cancer Potential — Originally named Metastin for its ability to inhibit cancer cell migration and invasion, with emerging research in melanoma and breast cancer metastasis suppression.
